Oliver Hawk Batrich

About four months ago, we had a celebration in Decatur that I never documented...

I'm always up for an occasion to be with family and eat a lot of unhealthy finger foods :)

Though both were pregnant, Erin and her little boy were the ones being honored this day. I gave you a glimpse of Val's sweet boy, Cohen, a few posts ago. I was hoping we were all pregnant in this picture, but I wasn't just yet. Can you believe all Klein girls were pregnant together for one teeny-tiny window of time?!

Then Erin had her baby. Oliver Hawk arrived via an unexpected c-section! My champ of a sister made it to 9 cm and then the sweet little guy decided to turn himself into an undeliverable position. After all that drama, Oliver was born on June 15th at 6:31pm — 8 lbs 3 oz — 20 1/4 inches long.

I'm sad to say that I still haven't met this cutie. Lord willing, we'll remedy that soon!

Cohen Michael Speth

I'm a little late in publicizing this wonderful event, but I HAVE A NEW NEPHEW!!!!

Cohen was born on Sunday, April 14th at 10:12 am. He was 6 lbs. 13 oz. and 20 inches long. My sister, Valerie, had quite the labor experience and ended up having to have a C-section. She's such a trooper...

This sweet little guy also had a little battle with jaundice his first couple of days. Clearly, he won :) As Val put it, "He even makes jaundice look cool!"

He also has a very proud big sister on his hands. Sweet Emma loooooves baby "Coh-ey."

This face makes even the Bammers say, "War Eagle" :)

You are so precious, my little nephew. The KamPughs can't wait to meet you this Friday!!!!

What will it be?

I have a very clever sister who sought out my design help for this fun series of announcements. It is definitely the year of the boy for my side of the family! Little Cohen is coming in April and as you can see above, Oliver will soon follow in June. Three boy cousins within a year of each other. Oh my. Let the mischief begin! [and our Haddon will probably be the ring leader...]

The joy of graphic design...Yet again, the Lord has reminded me how thankful I am for my degree. I have been able to use it in multiple ways to benefit my friends and family, and also make the KamPughs a little money! It's good to get that affirmation every now and then :)
